“Direct me, Yahweh, throughout my journey so I can experience Your plans for my life. Reveal the life-paths that are pleasing to You. Escort me into Your truth; take me by the hand and teach me. For You are the God of my salvation; I have wrapped my heart into Yours all day long.”
Psalm 25:4-5 TPT
Foundation Phase: Gr 1 - Gr 3
At Richards Bay Christian School, we consider it a privilege to partner with parents to provide a solid educational foundation. Using the CAPS curriculum, nurturing, qualified staff seek to develop the whole child spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. Our goal is to teach our students innovatively, from a biblical perspective, to transform lives and encourage them to be solution-driven thinkers in their community.
At Richards Bay Christian School, the Foundation Phase staff believe that God’s Word is the only foundation on which to base all learning. We are passionate about equipping our students with the skills needed to read, understand and to communicate meaningfully with others.
Our desire is to enable our students to think critically and to deepen their ability to comprehend their studies and the world around them through a biblical mind-set.

The staff of Richards Bay Christian School, are committed to teach the students from a biblical perspective, using the CAPS curriculum, to prepare them for an IEB high school career. We believe that offering an education founded on a biblical world view will foster personal spiritual development and enable us to instill the practice of excellence in academics, Christian character and servanthood. We desire to partner with parents to present God’s Truth and His Word as the source of authority on which to build a life with purpose and meaning. We encourage our students to develop relationships built on trust and respect and to value everyone as a unique creation of God.
