At RBCS, we are fully persuaded that the spiritual formation of our students is the most important responsibility we share with the parents in partnering with them to equip their children in their journey of discovering destiny.

FOUNDATION PHASE
The aim is to teach the little ones the stories of the Bible as foundational in ‘growing in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man’ (Luke 2:52)

INTERMEDIATE PHASE
The Associated Christian Schools International (ACSI) curriculum is taught. It focuses on characters of the Old Testament, principles of the New Testament and their relevance and application to life.

HIGH SCHOOL
Grade 8
We teach the historical evidence, time-line and key concepts of each book of the Bible, God’s love letter to the world.
Grade 9 and 10
The Missio Dei (Mission of God) ACSI curriculum is taught. The focus is on teaching followers of Jesus that the experience of life with God isn’t simply to make our own lives richer – but it is to fulfill a much larger purpose….and is best lived not individually but in a community.
Grade 11
The students are actively engaged in the ‘Freedom in Christ for Young People’ course. This is an emotional wholeness equipping course which deepens understanding in relevant issues our young adults face:

Identity : learning the truths of how God sees them will help them connect with genuine unconditional acceptance, significance and security.
Pressure and temptation: Learning what ‘spiritual war’ they are up against and how to stop, rethink and make wise choices.
Authority in Christ: Learning how to take full responsibility for our own freedom and relationship with God.

Grade 12
The focus is on relationships, dating and understanding of God’s design for Marriage.
